March 13, 2022 – Santa Fe College faculty are invited to participate in a modified faculty walk of honor as we celebrate this spring with the class of 2022 graduates. As the college did in the fall, Spring graduating students can choose to participate in the Personalized Graduation Experience on April 28 and 29, from noon to 5 p.m., at Jackson N. Sasser Fine Arts Hall.

During the personalized graduation experience, students will sign up for a 15-minute shift during which the student and their guests

  • Enter the Hall of Fine Arts
  • Hear their name announced
  • cross the stage
  • Be recognized by President Broadie
  • Receive a fake diploma
  • To take a picture
  • Walk through a line of socially distant professors wearing badges
  • Exit the building

The personalized graduation experience is by appointment only for students and faculty. Health Sciences graduates will walk on Thursday, April 28 between 2-3 p.m. and Nursing graduates will walk on Thursday, April 28 between 3-5 p.m. All other hours are available to all graduates.

Any faculty member wishing to participate in the Faculty Walk of Honor should click on the link to complete the Faculty Registration Form in Thursday March 17. Your responses on the form will be used to reserve your place and to order your graduation badges, if required.
